dr hab. inż. Bartłomiej Stępień

Bartłomiej Stępień is an associate professor in the Department of Mechanics and Vibroacoustics of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. He awarded a postdoctoral degree (habilitation) in 2019 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. His research focuses on implementation of non-parametric statistical methods in the analysis of acoustic measurement results and their uncertainty (more than 40 publications). He is also interested in vibroacoustic measurements and signal processing, as well as issues of modelling acoustic sources, sound propagation in the environment and assessment of human exposure to noise. Author and co-author of more than 70 scientific publications and conferences papers. Member of European Acoustics Association (EAA) and Polish Acoustical Society (PTA).
