dr hab. inż. Paweł Małecki

Ph.D. D.Sc. Eng. Prof. AGH, Pawel Malecki graduated from two faculties: Automation and Robotics and Mechanics and Construction of Machines. In 2013, he received his Ph.D with a thesis that focused on psychoacoustic issues in the perception of music in a strong reverberation acoustic field. At present, his scientific interests focus on the auralization and use of ambisonic techniques in the analysis of acoustic phenomena. 

As a sound engineer, he completed over 50 long-play releases of classical music, jazz, folk and folklore and choral music. He is one of the the founders and technical manager of Radio Lem.fm. 

As an acoustic consultant, he is the author of projects or acoustic guidelines for concert halls, auditoriums, recording studios and many others.

He is a laureate of many scholarships and prizes, among others Scholarship of the Mayor of the City of Krakow, the European Doctus and other scholarships. He is the author of over 100 scientific works, including 18 articles in journals of the Thomson Reuters list on the subject of architectural acoustics, spatial sound perception, sound source location and audible landscape analysis. In addition to numerous scientific speeches at international conferences, he has conducted workshops about the production of ambisonics. He was a member of the jury during the “Student 3D Audio Production Competition in Ambisonics” and in the “Student Recording Competition – The Immersive Audio Category At Aes Convention” competition.
