Piechowicza) wyg\u0142osi referat pt. &#8222;Development of noise reduction strategies for Medical Imaging device (MRI scanner)&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Dear Sirs,<br><br>I would like to inform you that the next seminar of the Department of Mechanics and Vibroacoustics will be held on 28th April 2025 at 11:30 a.m. in room 103 of building D-1.<br><br>On that day, Mr. Swapnil Arawade (PhD student of Prof. J. Piechowicz) will give a talk entitled &#8222;Development of noise reduction strategies for Medical Imaging device (MRI Scanner)&#8221;.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Streszczenie\/Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a critical tool in medical diagnostics, offering detailed images of internal organs without the use of ionizing radiation, thereby ensuring greater patient safety. However, one of the primary challenges associated with MRI technology is the excessive acoustic noise generated during operation, which can reach levels of up to 130 dB. This doctoral research focuses on identifying and characterizing the sources and nature of MRI-related noise. A significant contribution of the study is the exploration and development of innovative noise reduction strategies, with a particular emphasis on the application of advanced metamaterials engineered specifically for MRI environments.
